Mathematician (Assistant Professor)

Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and conduct of educational courses and programs within the department, in particular teaching courses in Mathematics
Responsible for conducting research, instruction and academic counseling of Midshipmen and assuming a share of departmental and other academic responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematics or a closely related mathematics field including, but not limited to, Statistics or Operations Research
Minimum of one year full-time experience teaching Mathematics courses in a college or university, other than as a part of teaching assistantship
Experience teaching undergraduate-level Calculus, Differential Equations and/or Probability & Statistics courses in a college or university
Preferred
Experience in applied mathematics
Experience with computer programming and computer languages such as Python
