The role involves reviewing, planning, integrating, and testing unique opto-mechanical and thermoelectric products in a low volume setting. The selected candidate will perform tasks in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with various disciplines to ensure program milestones are met.

Responsibilities
Perform tasks in a manufacturing and/or prototyping environment
Review and provide feedback on electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical drawings and designs
Translate drawing requirements into detailed work instructions for the assembly, integration, and testing of complex end-products
Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure program schedule milestones are met
Own product schedule development coordinate across disciplines to ensure agreement amongst stakeholders
Troubleshoot issues individually and collaboratively to find quick and safe solutions that minimize schedule delays
Balance multiple projects and priorities and communicate clearly to operations leadership
Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation
Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices
Be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
2-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment
Preferred
Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry
Familiarity with machinery, machine building, and precision engineering
Experience with Optical Metrology
Knowledge of mechanical builds and tolerances, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
