Responsibilities
Design and document high-level and detailed solution architectures for complex enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology roadmaps
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, developers, and clients to translate business requirements into effective and sustainable technical solutions
Lead architectural decision-making across software, cloud, data, and integration domains, identifying optimal patterns and best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
Evaluate, recommend, and integrate relevant emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance solution capabilities and future readiness
Support delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and maintaining quality of technical deliverables
Develop reusable frameworks, reference models, and technical guidelines to support enterprise-wide solution consistency and scalability
Champion innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within architecture and cross-functional teams
Communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting the message for diverse audiences
Mitigate technology risks, ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and contribute to governance processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
10+ years of experience in IT solution design, including a significant portion spent in a solution or enterprise architecture capacity
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale applications, distributed systems, or cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong understanding of architectural patterns (microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture) and integration strategies (APIs, messaging, middleware)
Proficiency with modern software development languages and frameworks (such as Java, .NET, Python) and relevant development tools
Solid grasp of information security principles, data protection, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP)
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to teamwork
Eligibility to obtain and hold a Public Trust clearance may be required, depending on client engagements
Preferred
Previous experience working with agile and hybrid delivery methodologies is highly desirable
Relevant architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are an asset
