Responsibilities
Handle client billing across multiple entities and projects
Make sure invoices match contracts, bids, and change orders
Track outstanding invoices and follow up as needed
Run accounts payable end-to-end: invoices, coding, approvals, and payments
Work with production teams to code costs correctly by project and entity
Manage intercompany transactions and allocations
Help with month-end close, journal entries, and credit card reconciliations
Support audits and internal reporting
Maintain accurate cash balances and forecast cash positions
Improve and streamline billing and AP processes as we scale
Qualification
Required
Be self-motivated, proactive, well-organized, accountable and detail-oriented
Have the ability to anticipate needs, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, and high-volume environment
Strong background in billing and accounts payable
Experience working across multiple entities
Solid understanding of GAAP
Possess strong communication skills (written and oral)
Good follow-through on all projects, meeting deadlines, and taking ownership of assigned tasks without undue supervision
Proficient in Excel, Word, Windows, and various accounting and production software
Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience in the entertainment industry and production accounting
3+ Years of applicable work experience
