Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule construction staking services for active land development projects

Communicate with field crews, project managers, engineers, and contractors to clarify scope, timing, and deliverables

Review construction plans, control data, and CAD files to prepare for field staking

Ensure proper documentation and QA/QC of staking deliverables

Track project progress and proactively manage deadlines, materials, and crew workloads

Prepare detailed and competitive estimates and proposals for construction staking services

Analyze construction documents, specifications, and plans to determine required services

Collaborate with survey managers and engineers to develop project scope and cost breakdowns

Maintain cost databases and historical pricing information

Assist in budget tracking and change order preparation throughout the project lifecycle

Required

4+ years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in construction staking coordination

Familiarity with local regulations, survey standards, and construction practices
