Responsibilities
Prepare and manage financial and regulatory reporting
Lead annual regulatory reporting and audits
Analyze financial results and monitor variances
Identify financial trends and recommend actions to management
Research and apply accounting standards and regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent experience in a related field
5 years of experience within an accounting, finance, or closely related role
Proficiency in Statutory Accounting Standards and NAIC Reporting
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUM, and IF Statements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to carefully review and evaluate financial and non-financial datasets
Ability to catch and troubleshoot errors and discrepancies
Strong data management skills and ability to balance this work with accounting needs
Strong management skills and ability to balance multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines
Preferred
Experience in public accounting is preferred
Prior experience with audit, insurance, or healthcare data is helpful, but not required
