Responsibilities

Performs non-destructive tests (NDT) on aircraft and other aerospace components and parts
Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, and magnetic particle
Requires minimum Level II certifications in major non-destructive testing method (RT/UT/PT) in accordance with regulations

Required

High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience
The ability to pass a background check and drug screen
The ability to work all three work shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify defects and ensure quality
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required
Requires minimum Level II certifications in major non-destructive testing method (RT/UT/PT) in accordance with regulations

Preferred

Certifications in NDT methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) II, Radiographic Testing (RT) II, and in Eddy Current Testing (ET) II
Relevant work experience in NDT, preferably in the defense industry or similar capacities
Proficiency in various NDT techniques and equipment, ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and knowledge and safety protocols
