Responsibilities

Lead a design team and champion design excellence

Establish and implement CAD best practices

Manage, lead, train, and mentor a team of designers

Establish design objectives and technical specifications aligned with project goals

Ensure quality and consistency across all projects

Coordinate design reviews and implement CAD standards

Drive project CAD setup activities

Coordinate design resource allocation with engineering leads

Evaluate new personnel skillsets before mobilization

Collaborate with other disciplines to develop procedural interfaces

Work with software vendors to resolve technical issues

Manage project schedules and budgets

Educate engineering personnel on software functionality

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Perform other duties as requested

Required

High School Diploma or GED and 9 years of related engineering design experience including managing design professionals, process development, and execution; OR
