Responsibilities

Counsels students and parents concerning financial aid, bills, and payment
Evaluates applications including performing needs analysis and determining eligibility for federal, state, and University awards
Processes student account information and assists with outreach efforts both on campus and in the community, including high school night presentations
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 1 to 2 years relevant experience
Valid driver's license
Strong interpersonal, administrative, oral, and written communication skills
Working knowledge of PC based word processing and spreadsheets
Strong customer service skills

Preferred

Familiarity with computerized financial aid systems, especially Ellucian Banner preferred
Knowledge of college financial aid and/or college student account processes
