Rivers Casino Philadelphia is seeking a Facilities Engineer III responsible for maintaining the building and performing complex repairs. This role includes executing preventative maintenance tasks across various trades and assisting in training lower-level engineers.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain HVAC systems
Patch, repair, and paint designated areas as needed
Perform preventative maintenance to equipment on a scheduled basis
Responsible for inventory
Handle routine calls, prioritized by leadership and guest service needs
Higher level plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, carpentry, floor covering functions, special trade
Must be able to utilize ladders of various heights, during Engineering duties
All other duties as assigned

Required

3 or more years' experience in maintenance field
Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s)
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 21 years of age
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures in all trades
Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of Casino's insurance policy
Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments
Strong customer service skills
Ability to take direct and work effectively independently and as part of a team
Ability to follow all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies
Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk
Must frequently lift up to 35 pounds
Frequently required to stoop, crouch, stand, or kneel
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust
