Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements, develop system specifications, and lead system design and development activities

Guide users in formulating system requirements, provide alternatives, and conduct feasibility studies

Provide leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring the seamless integration of systems into ongoing operations

Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and design documents, and prepare system integration and test plans

Communicate with government personnel, senior executives, and program personnel to address technical considerations and resolve system issues

Required

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of systems engineering experience; or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree

DoD 8570 compliance IAT Category, Level II Certification. (Security +)

Expertise in Network Information Service (NIS) and UNIX/LINUX operating systems, including RedHat or CentOS

Proven experience developing and implementing system configuration scripts in Python, Perl, Java, ksh, csh, Bourne, or Bash

Hands-on experience with VMware, including ESX and Horizon, as well as Windows operating systems

Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication

Experience applying Operating System patches and upgrades regularly, and upgrading administrative tools and utilities

Experience with STE and STN technologies
