Centauri Health Solutions provides technology and technology-enabled services to payors and providers across all healthcare programs. They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to manage client relationships, lead projects, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance business units.

Responsibilities

Service existing client-base in order to maximize client satisfaction through providing value enhancing ideas, improvements, and business tools and by leading client engagement calls and updates

Conceptualize, develop, and implement tools, reporting, and solutions directed towards client challenges, using application of acquired business acumen

Build and maintain client relationships, responsible for manager and director client relationships

Responsible for data flows and reports by providing monthly, quarterly, annual, and renewal performance reports. If data is managed by Associate, Senior Associate is responsible for reviewing all reports for accuracy

Heavy use of Excel and databases to manage and report statistics and data

Collect and interpret competitive market information through information gathering and ghost calling. Apply information to client engagement and selectively highlight relevant information for clients

Review and identify client challenges and obstacles and provide/recommend solutions based on RMA competencies, as well as identifying opportunities for other Centauri solutions

Provide financial and statistical support on strategic projects, and articulate benefits or drawbacks of projects to senior client leadership

Work closely with engagement sales rep to analyze market feedback to inform initiatives and client action plan

Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction through supporting the Centauri Health Solutions Strategy and Analytics team or communicating directly with clients

Stay abreast of industry knowledge and changes, advise and make clients aware of these shifts as appropriate to business needs

Support or lead business development projects

Identify business development opportunities with existing clients

Investigate and analyze potential markets based on appropriateness criteria

Develop Centauri Health Solutions business development and educational material (e.g. White Papers)

Conduct company-wide information sharing activities to leverage best-practices

Provide guidance and oversight of client deliverables and internal projects

Provide mentorship and guidance to Analysts on projects as needed to meet objectives and grow junior employees

Consistently report client information to Director of Strategy & Analytics and client partner sponsor

Report on activity level and outcomes of activities and initiatives on a regular basis focusing on value creation and problem resolution

Provide support to Centauri colleagues in driving value creating projects to completion

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

2+ years experience in a healthcare, analytics, or finance environment

Excellent knowledge of Project planning

Excellent knowledge of Fundamental analytical concepts, practices and procedures

Excellent knowledge of auditing practices and compliance requirements

Excellent knowledge of Data-mining products and principles

Excellent knowledge of appropriate quality tools for the job (i.e. root cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, etc.)

Excellent knowledge of Health care finance

Excellent knowledge of Budgeting

Excellent knowledge of Business principles

Excellent knowledge of data structures

Excellent knowledge of Workflow development and diagramming (both operational and information systems)

Excellent knowledge of Internal IT processes

Excellent knowledge of relational databases

Good basic knowledge of database management

Good knowledge of data mapping

Good understanding of the systemic relationships between tables, data and programming

Meaningful experience in using Excel and/or database tools

Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and manage tasks

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Possess critical thinking skills to problem solve and develop long term strategic plans

Significant understanding of finance & accounting principles and financial statements
