Senior LevelFairview Health Services is seeking an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Physician to join their primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic - Woodwinds. The role involves examining patients, formulating diagnostic plans, providing preventative and acute care, and participating in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management.

Responsibilities
Examines patients, formulates differential diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testing. Provides preventative, chronic disease, and acute care depending on the need of the clinic site. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene
Interprets examination findings and test results and implements treatment plans. Refers patient to medical specialist or another practitioner when necessary
Completes medical record and electronic order management (via in basket); and completes cross coverage depending on site needs. Follows organization policies and procedures and protocols
Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management
Participates in utilization and quality tools and activities that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes or workflows
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements
Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency training program
BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA
Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable
