Responsibilities

Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program
Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with out customers, as well as senior leadership
Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements
Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending
Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems
Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions
Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers
Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure
Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%

Required

Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware
3+ years of professional experience for this role
You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required

Preferred

Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrate test systems, and experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent
Experience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP)
Experience working with RF
Demonstrated an ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in development of tech products
Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations
Experience troubleshooting System level issues
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
