Grants Fiscal Manager

ALAMOSA SCHOOL DISTRICT, NO. RE-11J is seeking a Grants Fiscal Manager responsible for managing the detailed work of Federal, State, and Local Grants. The role involves ensuring accurate record keeping, tracking expenditures, and preparing financial reports for grants.

Primary/Secondary Education

Responsibilities

To insure complete and accurate record keeping of grants
Maintain accurate files and records
Meet with Auditor to review grants at year end
Request funds for grants on a monthly basis
Create ORC’s (Other Report Code) for all grant budgets
Track expenditures and revenue for grants
Understanding narratives-aligns with budget lines
Prepare purchase orders for grants
Provide necessary documents to Assistant Superintendent as requested
Prepares Annual Financial Reports for required Title funds and grants
Assists in the preparation of meetings
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word
Capable of performing independently
Attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience in working with the public

Preferred

Knowledge in Specialized Data Systems for Schools is helpful
Basic Accounting skills/ Budget management preferred
