Responsibilities
Developing academic frameworks that translate learning science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum design, motivational systems, and application architecture
Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and consistent delivery of results across school teams
Integrating data, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify the most critical barriers to learning acceleration and recommend targeted interventions
Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives
Serving as the external voice of 2 Hour Learning at the most senior forums, including keynote presentations and meetings with Ministries of Education, to influence global thinking on educational transformation
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field
7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI or technology to accelerate learning
Established record of public thought leadership including media appearances, keynote speaking, published works, or advisory roles
Proven capability in performance management with the discipline to hold high-performing peers accountable to elevated standards
Proficiency in data interpretation to diagnose learning challenges and guide corrective action
Willingness to engage directly with students, parents, and school leadership
Preferred
Founded or directed an innovative school model, laboratory school, or successful EdTech organization
Experience working across diverse cultural, political, or international education systems
Strong grounding in Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning methodologies
