This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy and governance within a growing enterprise data warehouse, collaborating with various stakeholders to support healthcare data initiatives.

Responsibilities
Facilitate data stewardship and governance workgroups with business and technical stakeholders
Define, document, and maintain:
Business rules
Reference data
Data policies
Data standards
Serve as a trusted advisor for data usage, ownership, and quality across lines of business
Perform SQL-based analysis to investigate data issues, validate changes, and support reporting
Conduct impact, shift, and regression analysis when business rules or warehouse logic changes
Support the data warehouse as a help desk and operational platform for downstream teams
Maintain data mappings, definitions, and governance documentation
Ensure data is properly classified, governed, and understood
Support and enhance data catalogs and metadata platforms
Act as the interpreter between business and IT
Translate healthcare business needs into technical data requirements
Drive solutions that are adopted across multiple business areas
Qualification
Required
5–10 years in Healthcare Data, Data Governance, or Business Systems Analysis
Strong experience with healthcare payer data, especially: Medical claims, Provider, Pharmacy, Member data
Deep understanding of how data is stored, transformed, and consumed in an enterprise data warehouse
Experience implementing data policies, governance models, and stewardship structures
Advanced SQL and data analysis skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong documentation and data mapping abilities
Ability to work with executives, data stewards, engineers, and business leaders
Detail-oriented with strong data quality and validation discipline
Comfortable operating in both governance and delivery environments
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Healthcare

Data Analysis or Data Governance certifications
