Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative instructional strategies and digital learning experiences
Collaborate with faculty to redesign and modernize course curricula using evidence-based learning design principles
Oversee the integration of new technologies and multimedia tools into educational programs
Design and deliver training programs and workshops aimed at enhancing teaching skills and fostering professional development
Establish a framework for continuous learning and improvement, including mentorship initiatives and peer-to-peer coaching
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and data analysis
Assist the CITL Director in shaping the strategic direction of the Center, aligning initiatives with institutional goals and emerging trends in education
Manage projects related to innovative teaching practices, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget
Coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders to secure resources and support for Center initiatives
Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team, fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Serve as a subject matter expert in learning design and professional development, advising on best practices and emerging trends
Represent the Center at conferences, workshops, and collaborative meetings, promoting its vision and programs
Develop and implement metrics to assess the impact of learning design and training initiatives on teaching and learning outcomes
Prepare reports and presentations for CITL leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth

Required

Master's degree in instructional design, education, curriculum & instruction, professional development or a related field and five (5) years of related experience in education, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Innovative Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and implement creative learning solutions
Collaboration: Strong teamwork and partnership-building skills across diverse groups
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in assessing program outcomes and applying insights to improve initiatives
Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving educational trends and technological advancements
Leadership: Capability to inspire and lead teams, fostering an environment of trust and professional growth

Preferred

Experience in leadership or supervisory roles within educational settings
Familiarity with current trends and best practices in higher education, including online and blended learning
Experience teaching at the college or university level, either as a full-time faculty member or an adjunct instructor
Demonstrated ability to use data-driven approaches to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Experience in grant writing or securing external funding for educational projects
Quality Matters (QM) Certification
