Responsibilities

Site investigation and characterization including groundwater well installation, soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling; drilling and contractor oversight; and remediation treatment system operation and maintenance
Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation
Engineering support, cost estimation, design calculations, and construction oversight
Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting
Civil/infrastructure design and site layout
Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis and modeling
Erosion and sediment control design and NPDES compliance
Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and
Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
At least 2 years prior internship experience and/or experience with a civil contractor or civil/environmental consulting firm or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Modeling experience (e.g., EPA-NET/SWMM, MODFLOW, HEC-RAS)
Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD
Regular field work and overnight travel
Willingness to complete Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel

Preferred

Advanced degree in geology or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
Experience performing hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and designing stormwater infrastructure
