Botauto is a company focused on maintaining a growing fleet of Class 8 tractors and trailers. They are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure the fleet operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform PMs and safety inspections; address DVIR/DOT defects quickly

Diagnose and repair tractor systems, including air systems, brakes, cooling, electrical, suspension/steering, driveline, and aftertreatment (as applicable)

Diagnose and repair trailer systems, including air leaks/brakes/ABS, lighting/wiring, landing gear, doors, and general safety items

Maintain clear, accurate work orders and history: symptom → root cause → repair → verification

Coordinate vendors for tires, alignments, welding, and major repairs

Support parts management and basic stocking of common wear items

Operate with an uptime mindset (fast triage, safe return-to-service) and communicate status/ETAs to Ops and Dispatch

Plus: Ability to follow OEM procedures and use OEM diagnostic tools

Plus: Basic first-line ADS checks (visual inspection, connector reseat per procedure, fuse/power/ground checks) and proper escalation when needed
