Responsibilities

Lead all Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
Guide teams in Agile/Scrum best practice and remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution
Track and report Agile metrics to stakeholders and leadership
Coach team members on Agile principles and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Coordinate day-to-day project activities and maintain effective client communication
Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and technical tasks
Participate in solution design and architectural discussions
Conduct code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality and documentation standards
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on support when needed
Work closely with other bureaus, developers, system administrators and analysts to ensure sprint deliverables are technically feasible and aligned with project priorities
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Coordinate across multiple Scrum teams and manage interdependencies between technical initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Agile-based projects and facilitating Scrum practices
Experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master in technical environments
2+ years of hands-on experience in software development or data science
Strong understanding of data science methodologies, tools, and frameworks
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps/CI/CD practices
Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Python, R, or SQL
Experience with technical documentation and code quality standards
Prior experience in hybrid roles combining technical leadership and project management
Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security requirements in federal environments
