Responsibilities

Develop and enhance RESTful Java/Spring Boot and Angular applications as part of an agile product team

Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders in a DevOps environment that emphasizes continuous delivery and learning

Ensure high-quality software by utilizing modern testing practices, including unit, integration, and behavioral testing

Participate in peer reviews, design discussions, and retrospectives to enhance team performance and shared understanding

Experiment with new technologies and approaches to solve complex problems and navigate ambiguity

Take ownership of your work, maintaining accountability for code quality and system reliability

Contribute to the modernization and simplification of existing platforms to improve functionality and user experience

Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance team productivity

Support the integration of backend services, ensuring seamless functionality within the overall system

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing Java services and Angular applications within a DevOps environment

Demonstrated expertise in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices

Strong knowledge of developer testing frameworks and automation tools

Proven ability to work effectively in Agile teams with a focus on delivering product-oriented solutions

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, particularly in remote or hybrid team settings

Ability to independently research, analyze, and resolve technical issues with sound judgment

Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and backend testing methodologies

Preferred

Bonus: Experience with Liferay or similar platforms
