Senior Technical Program Manager, Embedded Software

Responsibilities

Development of quarterly planning and detailed milestone schedules, mediate scope, participate in transforming requirements and specifications into achievable plans, manage inter-team dependencies, identify and mitigate program risks
Partner with Engineering Managers to ensure teams balance their essential initiatives, iterative improvements and proactive excellence investments
Support smooth execution of programs, team efficiency, and effectiveness through the application of appropriate process and execution monitoring
Be a point of contact for high-visability multi-functional workstreams
Understand cross-team effects of project initiatives, owning dependency management and risk mitigation to prevent impediments to execution. Shield teams from outside distractions and interferences
Effectively communicate execution status of initiatives and program milestone work to all stakeholders. Summarize reporting, raise and resolve risks, and celebrate wins

Required

BS or MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields
5+ years of Technical or Engineering Program/Project Management experience
Experience with Systems Engineering principles
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
Embedded Software experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development processes using program management tools
Proven track record with software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management

Preferred

TPM Certifications
Atlassian Productivity Suite and Google Workspace expertise
Understanding of Automotive Diagnostics and Functional Safety
Understanding of hardware/software bring-up of distributed systems
