Responsibilities

Administer and manage the complete business and personnel management functions at Western Correctional Center for Women
Have management and supervisory responsibility for budgets, accounting, personnel, canteen, clothes-house, mail-room and trust fund
Assign and monitor the work efforts of subordinate staff
Responsible for the functions of planning and monitoring budgets, approval of expenditures, purchasing of supplies and equipment, inventories, establishment and monitoring of temporary employees and personal service contracts, fiscal audit functions, canteen, mail-room, and warehouse/clothes operations
Oversee the overall personnel operations to include hiring, benefits, timekeeping, Fiori, and staff disciplinary actions

Required

Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in HR, budgeting, research or administrative management
An equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

Documented Human Resource and Accounts Receivable/Accounts payable experience within NC State Government
