JBT Marel is seeking a Sr. Technician II in Quality to perform various in-process fabrication examinations and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role involves interpreting specifications, verifying documentation, and coordinating inspections to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

Performs in-process fabrication examinations including but not limited to ASME BPE, B31.3, ASME Section 8, 3-A Standards and customer specifications and document examinations

Interprets including but not limited to ASME BPE, B31.3, ASME Section 8, 3-A Standards, customer specification, fabrication drawings, calculations, and weld procedures

Verifies documentation for projects and correctly turned over to documentation department for assembly of the “Customer Turn over Package”

Coordinates and organizes and schedule third party inspections as needed

Writes Weld Procedures, Quality SOPs, Shop Travelers

Performs Duties as assigned by Supervisor

Required

At least 5 – 7 years experience in welding and fabrication of ASME Section VIII pressure vessels

Experience in 3-A Sanitary tanks and piping

Experience in BPE pharmaceutical tanks and piping

Experience in B31.3 Process piping

Strong listening skills

Strong planning skills

Strong organization skills

Strong negotiation skills

Strong presentation skills

Ability to read a tape measure

Ability to read calipers

Ability to read micrometers

Preferred

A thorough understanding and ability to use all Microsoft Word Office applications
