Responsibilities

Interact with vendors to ensure the quality of all purchased parts
Maintain active roles on internal Continuous Improvement Teams
Prepare for 3 rd Party and Customer audits
Address Non-Conformances from all internal and external audits
Follow up on and close pending Preventive and Corrective Action Requests
Develop and administer an effective program for controlling and measuring equipment
Oversee Engineering Change Request/Engineering Change Notice process and training
Support New Product Introduction to customer requirements and specifications
Manage quality alerts from production to drive awareness
Assisting the management team and providing QA support as necessary
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum 2 years related experience required
Experience with developing/documenting procedures
Use of Quality Engineering methods in inspection
Working knowledge of statistical techniques and tools
Computer proficiency
Quality orientation and high attention to detail
Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
Solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be able to clearly present ideas and reports in written and verbal format
Must be able to work well with external contacts of the Company
Must adhere to all Company policies
Must be capable of sitting and using a computer for the majority of an 8-hour workday
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, on occasion
Must be capable of traveling within the US and Internationally
Individual must be a citizen of the United States, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15

Preferred

B.S. degree in Material Science or Engineering is preferred
Experience working with high performance teams
