Responsibilities
Manage and monitor all aircraft movements including arrivals, departures, towing, parking, and pushback activities
Coordinate with Air Traffic Control (ATC), Ramp Control, and Ground Handling teams to ensure safe and efficient aircraft movement
Maintain real-time situational awareness of aircraft positions, gate availability, and airside traffic
Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations, ICAO, IATA, and airport operational procedures
Resolve operational conflicts such as gate congestion, delays, diversions, and equipment shortages
Supervise and guide ramp controllers, movement coordinators, and operational staff
Manage irregular operations (IRROPS), weather disruptions, emergency situations, and contingency plans
Maintain movement logs, flight activity reports, and performance metrics
Support CAE simulation, training, and operational readiness programs
Ensure adherence to safety management systems (SMS) and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace, Logistics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in airport operations, airside operations, or aircraft movement control
Strong understanding of aircraft ground handling, ramp operations, and airport movement areas
Knowledge of ICAO, FAA, IATA, and local aviation authority regulations
Experience working in an Airport Operations Center (AOC) or Ramp Control environment
Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure, real-time operational environments
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Proficiency with aviation operations systems, flight tracking tools, and movement management software
