Akkodis is seeking a DevOps /AWS Engineer for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC. The role involves designing and implementing scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to support enterprise applications
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration of applications
Configure and manage AWS services, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with industry standards
Implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Amazon CloudWatch and Splunk for real-time system performance tracking
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, networking, and security to enable seamless cloud operations
Support cloud migration initiatives and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues to ensure system reliability and performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and 3+ years in DevOps practices

Experience with AWS services, monitoring tools like Splunk or CloudWatch, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
