Operations Specialist - Property Management
Roers Companies is a national leader in multifamily real estate investment and property management, headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota. They are seeking an Operations Specialist - Property Management to oversee day-to-day activities at various properties, ensuring compliance and maintaining excellent resident relations.

Responsibilities
Act as a Roving Property Manager by filling in at properties in the absence of a manager
On assigned properties, directs the day-to-day activities of resident relations, maintenance, inspections, leasing, and other operations
Assists in the hiring of new staff for assigned properties
Supports properties on-site during openings and takeovers
Conducts site visits and completes special projects
Provides guidance and assistance to struggling properties, as assigned
Maintains customer service and excellent relations with residents, resident cooperatives, commercial tenants, outside agencies or vendors and organizations
Ensures compliance with company policy, real estate law and state/federal guidelines
Out-of-state travel is required on an as-needed basis
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat
Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with wide range of people
Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, understanding that your scheduled workdays may vary according to staffing and company needs

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines
High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of industry experience as a Property Manager
Candidates will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug test and must have valid driver's license
Preferred
Knowledge of Yardi and other Property Management software strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience and understanding of Affordable Housing Programs (HUD Programs) is preferred
CRM, CAM, COS, or other related professional certification preferred
