Wave Hill is an organization looking for interns to assist with hands-on gardening work. The internship involves physically demanding tasks such as mulching, planting, weeding, and watering in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Duties include mulching the garden beds, as well as large tracts of our woodlands; digging and planting shrubs, trees, perennials and annuals; and, of course, weeding beds and watering our many containers in the nursery areas and in areas on public display. The internship is not for those seeking an intellectual exercise alone, nor for those seeking an administrative position in the field. This is a rigorous, hands-on experience with physically demanding work in all kinds of weather

Qualification

High school diplomaValid driver’s license
