Intern- Child & Family Health
MaineHealth is the largest employer in the state of Maine, focused on improving child and maternal health through prevention and early intervention strategies. The internship role within the Child and Family Health team involves supporting various health initiatives, including oral health, maternal health, and childhood immunization projects.

Responsibilities
Work with the oral health team to develop a series of infographics showcasing oral health data and success stories for the program’s website
Assist in developing content and posts for social media to support a school-based oral health campaign
Develop materials for medical practices who are launching maternal substance use disorder services
Review monthly quality data for perinatal substance use disorder program
Refine presentations and communications materials to increase awareness of best practices for perinatal substance use disorder programs systemwide
Review and analyze pediatric immunization data rates; and
Identify gaps or disparities that may be addressed through quality improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's Degree program, Bachelor's Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred
