Responsibilities
Design, develop, modify, and maintain LabVIEW-based automated test applications
Debug and troubleshoot electrical test systems, including software, hardware, and instrumentation
Integrate LabVIEW applications with lab and production equipment such as:
Power supplies
DAQs (NI preferred)
Oscilloscopes
Multimeters
Signal generators
Custom test fixtures
Diagnose system-level issues across software, firmware, and electrical hardware
Support verification, validation, and characterization testing
Improve test system performance, reliability, and usability through software optimization and hardware enhancements
Create and maintain technical documentation, including test software, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams
Provide onsite technical support during system bring-up and issue resolution
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of relevant engineering experience
Strong LabVIEW programming experience (core requirement)
Hands-on experience developing and debugging automated electrical test systems
Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including: Analog and digital circuits, Signal measurement and conditioning, Power distribution, grounding, and noise considerations
Bench-level troubleshooting experience with electrical and test system failures
Experience working with common laboratory instrumentation
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment
Preferred
Experience in medical device, electronics manufacturing, industrial automation, or semiconductor environments
Exposure to manufacturing or production test systems
Experience improving test efficiency, cycle time, or system robustness
