Responsibilities
Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Develop solutions to technical issues, creating detailed instruction for others
Engineers and configures platforms for deployment. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on deployed platforms
Engineer, deploy and manage Azure, AWS and GCP infrastructure as required
Architect and manage Microsoft Entra, Active Directory and other deployed identity providers
Possess strong skills in Linux and Windows operating systems
Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python,. Ansible, Terraform, Service Now, etc
Perform threat detection and remediation; maintenance, and patching on a routine basis to ensure optimal system performance, security and compliance
Experience with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IAC)
Proficiency with on-premise hypervisors to include VMware and other market leading alternatives
Provides technical support to program employees for complex system issues or problems as well as mentor and cultivate fellow staff members
Advises leadership on hardware, software and technology trends
Ability to draft requirements documents, correspondence, and procedures in accordance with policies
Qualification
Required
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Minimum 7 years of Systems Engineering experience
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory
Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS (GCP a plus)
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere / ESXi
Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Engineer, Google Cloud, or CompTIA Security
