Responsibilities
Help define and evolve application and platform architectures using .NET Core or Python
Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs
Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure architectural alignment across initiatives
Contribute production-grade code to critical services and shared components
Lead by example through implementation, refactoring, and technical problem-solving
Guide teams through complex technical decisions while staying close to the code
Establish and reinforce expectations around testing, reliability, and security
Design testing strategies spanning unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage
Leverage modern tooling to improve test efficiency, surface risks early, and reduce technical debt
Shape and improve infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD patterns (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)
Support deployment strategies and production readiness across environments
Use automation and observability to improve operational stability and developer experience
Apply contemporary development tools to accelerate design, implementation, and troubleshooting
Evaluate new technologies pragmatically and introduce them where they provide clear value
Thrive in evolving environments and help teams navigate ambiguity with clarity and direction
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including ownership of production systems
Strong proficiency in .NET Core or Python
Solid understanding of system design, software patterns, and tradeoffs at scale
Experience with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
Ability to balance near-term delivery with long-term maintainability and scalability
Comfortable making and defending architectural decisions while remaining open to feedback
Strong problem-solving skills in complex, ambiguous environments
Fluent with modern development and productivity tooling to improve engineering outcomes
Curious, adaptable, and thoughtful about how new tools—including AI-assisted workflows—can responsibly enhance development practices
Able to guide teams in adopting new approaches without creating unnecessary complexity
