Responsibilities

Master planning through detailed design activities as both a project manager and project contributor

Mentoring and technical oversight of junior and mid-level staff

Business development activities including but not limited to networking, preparation of proposals, interviewing, and negotiating fees

Preparation/review of deliverables including reports, cost estimates, renderings, plans and specifications

Miscellaneous tasks as required to assist the project team

Other duties as assigned

Landscape Architecture degreeRegistration as Landscape ArchitectProject management experienceIndustry software proficiencyLandSite planningCommunication skillsTeam collaborationPresentation skills

Required

Bachelor's or master's in landscape architecture from an accredited University or College

5+ years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect including experience with planning and design of communities, parks, streetscapes, and other similar project types

Registration as a Landscape Architect is required

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to lead presentations in both public and private settings

Demonstrated experience with industry software applications (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Design Suite, Sketch-up, Lumion and all Microsoft Office programs)

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Some travel will be required to undertake the job duties described above

Preferred

Experience with leading projects through a design review, entitlement or other similar public approval process is highly desired

Land and site planning design experience highly preferred

Must submit a portfolio that accurately represents experience and understanding of the design process to include built projects photos, presentation graphics and other design materials that represent skill set
