Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and structural assembly of aerospace components per work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings
Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment to assemble, fit, and install parts and components
Conduct inspections of in-process and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
Prepare and apply surface coatings (e.g., primers, sealants, bonding agents) according to engineering documentation and process specifications (preferred)
Fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing setting
May require standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing PPE
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet production schedules

Required

High school diploma/GED
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documents, and assembly instructions
Proficient in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP/shop floor systems
Must be able to work overtime, including weekends and second or third shift as required
Must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

Preferred

Associate degree or vocational training in manufacturing, aerospace, or mechanical technology preferred
Experience in aerospace coatings, including surface prep, masking, application of primers/sealants, or anti-corrosion treatments
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001 quality systems, or NADCAP requirements
Certifications in aerospace manufacturing or coatings (e.g., NACE, SSPC, AWS) a plus
Prior work in a cleanroom or high-reliability manufacturing environment
Current and active DoD Secret clearance
