Responsibilities

Preforming in-vitro analysis of biologic specimens according to the procedures established for routine areas of the laboratory

Participates in the supportive functions of quality control, instrument operation, limited troubleshooting, and limited problem resolution

Support other LTA and Phlebotomists throughout the region or the system where coverage is assigned on an as-needed basis

Required

Educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation

Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire for those involved in direct patient care
