Seasonal Talent Acquisition Support Specialist

The role involves ensuring compliance with hiring practices and supporting the onboarding process for new hires.

Responsibilities

Partners with Workforce Planning to create and post requisitions based on hiring plan
Creates job requisitions in compliance with company policy and with state and local law
Familiar with state and local employment laws affecting job advertisements. Example: pay transparency/ ban the box
Ensure compliance with all new hire processes and procedures
Monitor drug testing, background checks and new hire documentation
Verify successful completion of education, employment history and professional references for hired position
Daily status checks of new hire, updating managers and TA team as needed
Proactively communicate with candidates to ensure completion of necessary tasks and procedures within a timely manner
Coordinate candidates start date, day 1 tasks while providing a great first day experience
Escalate necessary onboarding discrepancies to the corresponding point of contact
Identify opportunities for improving hiring manager/candidate experiences
Create and maintain ad hoc reports
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of compliance and/or operations experience in a talent acquisition function
Understanding of general employment law and compliance guidelines
Prior experience utilizing ATS systems
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Working knowledge of MS Office, proficiency in data entry
Must be highly organized while managing multiple priorities
Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting critical deadlines
Passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong collaboration and attention to detail
Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day
Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate
Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device
Subject to pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
