Catapult Employers Association is seeking a high-level n8n Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize sophisticated workflows within their n8n Cloud environment. The role involves transforming complex business requirements into high-performance JSON-based automations that support Sales, Marketing, and Data operations.

Responsibilities

Workflow Architecture: Design and build complex, multi-step n8n workflows based on detailed project scope documents

Full-Stack Automation: Create automated solutions for Sales, Marketing, SEO/SEM, Social Media, and Affiliate programs

Data Lifecycle Management: Build workflows for Lead Generation, Data Enrichment, Lead Validation, and Customer Data Platform (CDP) synchronization

Database Integration: Manage and automate data flows specifically using Supabase (PostgreSQL)

Web Scraping: Develop robust scraping workflows to extract and process data from various web sources

Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous testing to ensure 100% data accuracy and workflow reliability before deployment

Stakeholder Collaboration: Join requirement-gathering sessions to provide technical feasibility insights and refine project scopes

Required

Expert n8n Proficiency: Mastery of n8n Cloud, including custom JavaScript functions, complex merges, error-trigger workflows, and API authentication (OAuth2, Header Auth, etc.)

Advanced Web Technologies: Deep understanding of JSON structures, RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and HTML/CSS selectors for scraping

Database Mastery: Expert-level experience with Supabase/PostgreSQL (writing queries, upserting data, and managing relational structures via n8n)

Marketing Stack Knowledge: Proven experience automating tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and various SEO/SEM APIs

Data Quality: Experience in building 'human-in-the-loop' validation steps and automated data cleaning/enrichment logic

Detail Oriented: You treat every data point with precision and document your workflows so they are easily maintainable by the team

Team Player: Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly

Proven Track Record: You must be able to demonstrate your expertise via Live Screenshare of working n8n Cloud workflows you have built

Time Zone Alignment: Full availability during EST business hours for meetings and rapid deployments

A brief portfolio or list of complex n8n workflows you have previously built

Specific examples of work involving Supabase and Lead Data Enrichment

Confirmation that you can work on EST time

Willingness to perform a live walkthrough of a functional workflow during the interview process
