Assistant Project Manager
ThirdWall Construction is a leading company in the metropolitan Washington, DC-Baltimore region, known for its commitment to excellence in construction. The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, coordinating, and executing of construction projects while assisting in the preparation of estimates for potential projects.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for potential projects
Support the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
Monitor project progress while ensuring compliance with quality standards
Track project expenses and assist in budget management
Conduct regular site visits and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
2+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project management or estimating role
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
