Responsibilities
Gain an in depth & comprehensive understanding of a wide range of real estate investments, processes, bespoke transactions, and corporate practices / governance
Partner with the Business and Federation to provide subject matter and system knowledge expertise
Leverage your skills to support the booking, closing & settlement of time-sensitive complex transactions
Support regulatory reporting for real estate investing portfolios
Book and maintain investment reference data in several systems to support accurate trade and risk calculations
Payment support for new investments and ongoing cash management functions associated with hard real estate assets
Exhibit excellent judgement & problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of a new or bespoke transactions or workflows
Able to manage multiple stakeholders, including third party consultants and has well-developed organization sensitivity
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of experience supporting commercial real estate related transactions
Excellent organizational, project management and customer service skills
Self-starter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Word and Excel
Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to work well in a team environment, cross teams, and regions
Systems-oriented with creative and analytical skills with ability to create innovative solutions
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Confident in verbal and written communication, especially with senior audience
Able to manage multiple stakeholders, including third party consultants and has well-developed organization sensitivity
High attention to detail
Innate curiosity and drive
Critical thinking, strong problem solving and presentation skills
Preferred
Experience with both direct real estate transactions, lending/borrowing and Equity transactions
Prior knowledge of Commercial Real Estate Loans, Equities, Bonds and Derivatives
