Cherokee Nation Entertainment is a leading tribal business in the gaming and hospitality sector. They are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Audit Associate to ensure the accuracy of financial records through auditing cashier paperwork and managing data entry.

Responsibilities

Retrieve and organize all necessary paperwork for auditing
Conduct audits on cashier paperwork and ensure all documents are properly submitted
Verify that cashiers have followed all policies and procedures, including obtaining required signatures
Input cashier reports and journal entries into balancing spreadsheets and accounting software
Prepare scorecards to document cashier audit exceptions
Research and resolve any discrepancies, including over/short discrepancies identified at the bank
Manage player points/comps by expensing them to the appropriate issuing department

Qualification

Accounting software proficiencyData entryMicrosoft Office SuiteResearch skillsDetail-oriented

Required

High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority

Preferred

Previous experience as a cashier or bookkeeper is preferred but not required
