They are seeking a detail-oriented Geology Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering intern to join their Chicago office in Summer 2026, focusing on environmental communications, data management, and technical report preparation.

Responsibilities
Support environmental communications
Data management (compilation, manipulation, and evaluation of data)
Assisting with writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
Preparing cost estimates and proposals
Coordinating work schedules with subcontractors
Conducting project related research (historical data, regulations, etc.) and preparing periodic status/program reports
Figure/map/boring log production
Oversight of drilling operations (installing monitoring wells and soil or rock descriptions)
Soil, groundwater, and air sampling in compliance with State and Federal standards
Emergency response
Operation and maintenance of subsurface remediation systems which may include aquifer pump testing
Subcontractor oversight
Underground and above ground storage tank inspection, testing, and repair/alteration oversight
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related science discipline
