Human Resource Coordinator
The University of Southern California is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator who will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role involves supporting various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with laws and policies.

Responsibilities
Assist with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in support of Human Resources operations
Support pre-employment processes, including coordinating and administering pre-employment testing and screenings for both staff and faculty
Compile, prepare, and maintain accurate and confidential employment and personnel records, including Gold files
Provide administrative support for HR-related projects and programs
You must understand the work permits and visas required for the employee's specific role and nationality
Maintain and update Human Resources vendor lists
Track, process, and reconcile HR-related invoices and assist with payment coordination
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational events
Assist with the development and delivery of training programs by coordinating schedules, preparing materials, and tracking participation
Support compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and employment regulations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Related undergraduate study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
One year of administrative or human resources support experience
Knowledge of basic HR principles, practices, and employment laws
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR information systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience working in an HRIS and applicant tracking system (ATS)
Experience in a higher education, healthcare, or public sector environment
