Thermal Global Commodity Manager
Google is seeking a Thermal Global Commodity Manager to work with Engineering teams to secure supplies and equipment for innovative products. The role involves co-leading strategic sourcing and commercial management of key thermal products, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to optimize Google's infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Define and implement long-term strategic sourcing plans for thermal products, encompassing technology roadmapping, market analysis, risk assessment, supplier identification and qualification to ensure a resilient and cost-effective supply base that meets Google's evolving needs
Lead high-stake negotiations with key suppliers, developing and managing complex contractual agreements to optimize value, mitigate risk, and ensure favorable commercial terms that align with Google's business objectives
Act as an instrumental part in influencing engineering design for supply chain resilience
Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for strategic suppliers, proactively managing supplier performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering strong, collaborative relationships to ensure consistent quality, on-time delivery, capacity and proactive problem resolution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
8 years of experience with thermal, electromechanical or silicon commodities
Experience in thermal product category or commodity management, agreement negotiation and supplier development
Preferred
Master's degree or MBA in a technical or engineering field
Experience with project management and global supply chain management, encompassing supplier and technology sourcing, delivery, quality, and cost management
