Account Executive (Business Development Manager)
Platinum is a company that provides maintenance and restoration services for commercial properties in Manhattan and the New York Metropolitan area. They are seeking a dynamic Account Executive (Business Development Manager) to drive sales growth by building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Generate new sales leads and build a sustainable client base
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives
Maintain and grow customer accounts to increase revenue by leveraging existing building relationships and attending networking events
Establish and nurture strong relationships with industry contacts
Manage day-to-day aspects of client relationships, ensuring the highest standard of service
Act as a trusted advisor and resource for clients, providing regular updates and site visits
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Negotiate pricing and contracts to close business opportunities and achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to prepare cost estimates
Partner with operations and scheduling teams to coordinate contracts and one-time jobs
Work closely with accounting to resolve invoicing and billing matters
Compose professional letters, proposals, and communications for clients
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Platinum’s services and accounts
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2+ years of proven sales experience
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Exceptional customer service mindset with a proven ability to build lasting relationships
Ability to work independently while taking clear direction
Preferred
Experience in the real estate or commercial property industry
