Responsibilities

Provide training on operational compliance processes and procedures for employees

Support operations personnel on compliance-related processes, including but not limited to POA, AMS, and ISF filing

Conduct internal audits and review reports to ensure adherence to regulations

Apply knowledge of proper compliance processes to resolve issues in accordance with industry standards

Review and recommend improvements to procedures for increased efficiency and compliance

Assist employees and teams in resolving compliance-related issues

Maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and customers

Prepare and monitor compliance and management reports

Perform other duties as required and assigned

Required

3 to 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding with a strong compliance background

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively

Ability to analyze regulations, write reports, and effectively present information

Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding, including Incoterms, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, customs regulations, and other government requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; additional education a plus
