IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST 1
The State of Louisiana is seeking an IT Technical Support Analyst 1 for the Northwest Louisiana Human Services District's Operations IT Department. This role involves providing technical support and ensuring the smooth delivery of technology services across multiple facilities within the District.

Responsibilities
Receives technical and administrative direction from and serves as assistant to the IT Tech Support Analyst 3
Primary focus are in the areas of computer operations, end user and desktop support (hardware and software)
Performs a variety of moderately complex information technology support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services
Provides technical support for internal end users on routine hardware and software problems including operating system support, application support, system access problems and database support services across the District
Administer new user accounts and provides network access according to needs and permissions
Sets up, configures desktop computers, peripherals, and accounts assigning levels of access
Installs software, and repairs hardware and peripherals
Performs remote and/or onsite support to resolve technical support requests
Responsible for changing backup tapes as assigned
Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems with computer equipment, implements corrective action procedures with prescribe guidelines
Participates in orientation of new employees
Assists Supervisor with updating hardware/software network wide; deployment of hardware including telecommunications and hand-held devices; coordination of video conferencing and other audio-visual equipment
Assists in maintaining inventory of IT assets by keeping equipment databases current and conducts onsite validation of property annually
Serves as IT Tech Support Analyst backup when assigned
Qualification
Required
Three years of experience in information technology; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in information technology; OR
An associate's degree in information technology plus one year of experience in information technology; OR
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in information technology
A bachelor's degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field
