Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and events
Support vulnerability scanning, triage, and remediation workflows
Assist with secure coding practices and threat modeling for new features
Participate in incident response exercises and documentation
Evaluate third‑party tools and integrations for security impact
Contribute to internal security documentation and process improvements
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of security fundamentals (authentication, encryption, network security, OWASP concepts)
Familiarity with cloud environments
Experience with basic security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, SAST/DAST tools)
Ability to think critically about risk and prioritize effectively
Clear communication and willingness to dive into unfamiliar problems
Preferred
Experience with security services
Exposure to SOC2, ISO27001, or similar compliance frameworks
Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash)
Understanding of secure SDLC practices
