Responsibilities

Lead and manage enterprise network design, upgrades, security implementations, and sustainment

Evaluate and integrate new network technologies; advise COTR/PM and project leadership

Plan and design network configurations to ensure optimal performance and compatibility

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco (and other vendor) routers, multilayer switches, and network encryption devices

Design and plan network communications systems and manage small projects from inception to implementation

Support senior leadership and coordinate with CIO and external IT organizations

Monitor network health, diagnose failures, and restore services

Conduct network testing, topology surveys, and lifecycle engineering activities

Produce technical documentation, schematics, Layer 2/3 provisioning, and Configuration Control Board materials

Present technical solutions to engineering review boards
